From Passion to Purpose
What started in 2022 as a passion for communication has grown into a purpose-driven path shaped by creativity, learning, and experience.
I started in 2022 at IU Indianapolis, majoring in Communication Studies and a member of the Honors College.
Over the course of my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in digital storytelling, social media strategy, and web design.
Skills that allow me to create communication that is both meaningful and effective.
My growth as a communicator has been shaped by hands-on experiences that challenged me to think outside the classroom.
Through projects like developing a social media intervention, creating promotional content for real clients, and building user-focused web pages, I’ve learned to approach communication with intention.
Each experience in college has strengthened my ability to understand audiences, craft clear messaging, and design messaging that encourages engagement.
I approach every project with an audience-centered mindset, focusing not just on what I want to say, but how it will be received, interpreted, and acted upon.
For me, communication is more than just delivering information. It includes creating connections, shaping perspectives, and making an impact, something I try to do every day.

I am especially interested in opportunities involving content strategy, social media, and digital communication, where I can contribute meaningful, engaging, and purposeful work.
As I take the next step in my journey, I am eager to bring this mindset into professional spaces where I can continue learning, collaborating, and creating work that makes a difference.
